XtracPads PRO
Introduction:
XtracPads has propelled itself into the field of big mousing surfaces, little mousing surfaces, and performance mousing surfaces. All an all the company is great at what it does, and all its products show the company's strength. Today I have one of the smaller breed mouse pads from their line of mousing surfaces. I have the Xtracpads Pro. The Pad is consistently smooth, grips very well to my desk surface, and has awesome performance in conjunction with my Razer Diamondback Plasma LE. Read on for more...

XtracPads PRO (1)
XtracPads Sticker (1)
Contents:
The box is very simple; comprised of a folded thick paper that has a flap to keep the pad in. The box is sturdy and protects the PRO pad during transport, or when the pad isn't in use. Inside the box is the PRO pad, and a nifty little sticker that you can stick anywhere to support XtracPads. The box is very simple and shows the product in a detailed picture with specifications on the back.
The PRO pad itself is very simple and not too big, great for laptop use or restricted desktop use. And the sticker is great anywhere.
And even the sticker is stylish, yet has just the information you need.
Examination:
This pad proved to have a punch in such a little package. Even thought the pad isn't that big it is very smooth, and grips to its surface very well. The design is XtracPads signature honeycomb design, with their logo in the bottom right hand corner. The pad is very thin, but sturdy. The rubber backing is coarse enough to grip and holdfast to surfaces no matter how hard you move your mouse. Shown below is the logo along with the rubber backing. Also shown below is the rubber backing itself.
Performance:
The PRO pad has prime real estate in the laptop gaming/performance mouse pad. Because of its small footprint and excellent performance I would highly recommend to any laptoper that wants a great cheap mouse pad. Among testing I found minimal mouse drag and was very happy with the mouse movement I got. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was the size; I'm used to a larger mouse pad I kept rolling off the pad unexpectedly. For some this could be an issue, in that case I would suggest you buy a larger mousing surface, otherwise don't sweat it, there is plenty of space to be happy on this pad. Another addition I would recommend is teflon feet. I have them on my mouse and it greatly improves smoothness with your mouse, and pairs the mouse and mouse pad much better. Overall this pad proved to be flawless, the few things that I found to be a nuisance was just because of personal preference, and not because of a bad product. On the contrary the PRO pad rocks and would suggest it to anyone because it is so affordable, and very useful.
Conclusion:
I would highly recommend this pad to anyone. It is very affordable, performs very well, and looks great. I don't know anything of this quality and caliber that is anything close to the price. The PRO pad is much worth every penny spent. The styling of the pad alone is worth eight bucks, and with that you get awesome smoothness and an all around great pad. Two thumbs up for XtracPads on this one.
